Wow. I live an hour from the Mexican border in a Hispanic area of Southern California and would have never thought I’d have some of the best Mexican food of my life this far north. The flavor of the pork was out of this world, best pork tacos I’ve ever had. Fish and shrimp tacos were good as well. This could be the best Mexican restaurant in Canada and it’s just sitting out here in the middle of nowhere. Friendly staff too, appears to be family run. If you live in Victoria it’s worth the drive to check this spot out
Bought lunch here today and I am NEVER disappointed, pulled pork was delicious and with the beans it is unmatched. Definitely will be coming here more often for tacos in the sun
Food was amazing and flavourful. It's a tiny place that really a rake-out place but does have a couple of small tables inside. They have booths outside where, weather permitting, you can enjoy the central hub of Shawnigan Lake and watch people come and go. I had a latte and the 3 taco meal. Both were delicious. It was not your standard taco but was filled with amazing flavor. Will definitely go again.
Carlos runs a super authentic Mexican restaurant. The shrimp tacos were delicious and it’s one of our local favorites! Can’t wait to go back again soon.
This Small restaurant is a treasure with big flavour, it’s like stepping into Mexico. The margaritas are fire, and the food was packed with authentic Mexican flavours. We had the three taco special and if you bring your appetite, order the burrito! We ate on the quaint patio watching the world and the wild turkeys go by.
Just got 2 pork tacos made by the owner Carlos and they were the best I have had. I ate 1 right away because they were served fresh and smelt too good to resist in the car. The second I took home and heated up and it was just as delicious warmed up. I got hot sauce which I usually wouldn’t but it was the perfect touch to the pork taco, recommended by Carlos. I can’t wait to have lunch here again on the sunny patio.
The food and service was great! I had the pork tacos and they were delicious. We enjoyed them on the nice patio out front. Glad we stopped here!!
First time eating here and absolutely blown away by how delicious the tacos were. Had the shrimp taco which was by far my favorite; flavour is unmatched to any other taco I've had. Second favorite was the pork. We will definitely be back! Yum yum yum :)
